Resumen


El organismo de los seres vivos es capaz de responder ante cualquier agresor externo mediante la puesta en marcha de una serie de mecanismos defensivos que se basan, en gran medida, en la producción y/o actuación de células o productos celulares que se ocuparán de luchar frente al mismo y destruirlo en caso de tratarse de un agente patógeno (Van Muiswinkel et al, 1985), mecanismos que constituyen la respuesta inmune.
